Over the following eight years, he played a central role in building and institutionalizing Union Mutual Fund’s equity investment process. His responsibilities included ensuring disciplined implementation of investment practices and launching multiple schemes at opportune points in the market cycle. He later went on to co-head the Equity Investment function, overseeing 18 equity and hybrid schemes with aggregate assets of over ₹14,500 crore at the time of his exit.
